As a Data Engineer, you will have the opportunity to build and maintain the infrastructure required for optimal data extraction, transformation, and loading from various sources using SQL and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and optimize data pipeline architecture
  • Design and implement process improvements, automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability
  • Develop data tools for analytics and data science teams to assist in product building and optimization
  • Collaborate with data scientists to improve data system functionality
Required Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in either Scala or Python, expertise in Spark, and experience with performance tuning and optimization
  • DBT is mandatory, with hands-on experience in data transformations and modeling
  • Experience with big data tools, relational SQL and NoSQL databases, data pipeline and workflow management tools, and AWS/GCP cloud services

Skills: Strong analytical skills, experience with message queuing, stream processing, and highly scalable 'big data' stores, ability to handle large datasets efficiently
