As a seasoned Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing data pipelines using AWS services. With 4+ years of experience under your belt, you will be responsible for creating efficient, scalable, and reusable code in Python to meet the needs of our dynamic product engineering company.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and data workflows using AWS services.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions.
  3. Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and developers to enable advanced analytics and reporting.
  4. Troubleshoot, optimize, and monitor data workflows and cloud resources.
  5. Maintain accurate documentation of system architecture, processes, and best practices.

Must-Have Skills

  • AWS Certification (Solutions Architect, Developer, or Data Analytics – Associate/Professional).
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (S3, Lambda, EC2, RDS, Glue, Redshift, IAM).
  • Strong programming skills in Python (data handling, APIs, automation).
  • Solid knowledge of SQL (queries, joins, stored procedures, performance tuning).

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with data warehousing and big data frameworks.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
