Senior Backend Software Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned software engineer with deep expertise in designing and developing scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of backend development using Java or Kotlin, as well as experience working with NoSQL databases and RESTful APIs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building robust software solutions that interact with hardware devices, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications, and contributing to code reviews and documentation.

  • Must-Have Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of software development experience, including 5+ years building scalable backend services using RESTful API and NoSQL.
  • Strong experience with backend development in Java or Kotlin.
  • Proven track record designing and developing software that interacts with or manages hardware devices.
  • Deep understanding of API design, versioning, and documentation.
  • Solid grasp of software engineering fundamentals including object-oriented design, testing, debugging, and CI/CD best practices.
  • Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).
  • Familiarity with containerized services and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar.
