About Our Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Student Counsellor to join our team. As a Student Counsellor, you will play a vital role in helping students navigate the complex university application process.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide expert advice and guidance to students, helping them to make informed decisions about their academic and professional futures.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

You will also need to have a strong understanding of the higher education system and be able to provide clear and concise advice to students on a range of topics, including course selection, university choice, and career development.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also need to have excellent presentation and public speaking skills, as you will be required to deliver engaging talks and presentations to students, parents, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Shortlist universities based on course, rankings, specialization, location preference, and financial ability.
  • Provide impartial and honest advice on studying abroad.
  • Develop excellent communication and presentation skills for written and verbal interactions.
  • Utilize MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and typing skills effectively.
  • Maintain accurate record-keeping in the CRM.
  • Deliver engaging talks and presentations in webinars, seminars, and virtual counseling sessions.
  • Offer accurate and clear information to students, answering their inquiries promptly.
  • Be flexible and adjust working hours to suit business needs.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in shortlisting universities and counselling students.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and typing skills.
