Job Title: Migration Delivery Expert

Large-scale migration programs require strategic oversight to ensure seamless execution across hybrid environments. We are seeking an experienced and skilled Migration Delivery Expert to drive end-to-end delivery of a complex enterprise migration program.

  • This is a leadership role that requires strong program governance, stakeholder management, and runbook-driven execution expertise.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in complex migrations involving applications, infrastructure, or data center transformations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the end-to-end migration strategy and delivery roadmap.
  • Coordinate delivery across multiple workstreams, including application, infrastructure, testing, data, and cutover teams.
  • Build and maintain detailed migration runbooks, cutover plans, and rollback strategies.
  • Track and report progress against milestones, risks, and dependencies.
Team & Stakeholder Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and coordinate a cross-functional team of members, including team leads, engineers, testers, analysts, and cutover coordinators.
  • Define team structure, resource allocation, and capacity planning based on project phases.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for internal teams and client stakeholders.
  • Engage with global program managers, sponsors, and business users to ensure delivery alignment.
Governance & Reporting:
  • Ensure daily stand-ups are held, migration control rooms, and checkpoint meetings are setup.
  • Report delays/issues/risks to program lead and provide options for mitigation.
  • Publish executive dashboards and KPIs on progress, issues, and blockers.
  • Support audits, compliance requirements, and post-migration validations.
Requirements:
  • 12+ years of experience in IT delivery, with 5+ years in migration programs.
  • Proven track record of leading large teams (50+ people) in a matrixed or distributed model.
  • Strong experience with enterprise migrations involving cloud, core banking, platform upgrades, and infra refresh.
  • Familiarity with migration & cutover tools like Informatica, Cutover, ServiceNow, Iceflo, or custom orchestration tools is a plus.
