About the Role

Our organization seeks a skilled Data Engineer with hands-on experience in Snowflake, AWS (Lambda, Glue), DBT, and SQL to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines.

The ideal candidate will enable seamless data integration, transformation, and analytics to support business intelligence and advanced analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. We are looking for someone who can design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue, Lambda, and DBT.
  2. This role requires developing and optimizing data models in Snowflake for scalability and performance.
  3. You will write efficient and optimized SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  4. Collaboration with business analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders is essential to understand data requirements.
  5. Data quality, consistency, and governance across all platforms must be ensured.
  6. Monitoring and troubleshooting data pipelines, ensuring timely delivery of data, is also part of this job.
  7. Automating workflows and integrating data from multiple internal and external sources will be your responsibility.
  8. Implementing best practices for data security, cost optimization, and performance tuning on AWS and Snowflake is crucial.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Proven expertise in Snowflake Data Warehouse (data modeling, query optimization, performance tuning).
  • Strong understanding of AWS services: Lambda, Glue, S3, IAM, CloudWatch.
  • Proficiency in DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformations and modular pipelines.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL (complex queries, performance optimization).
  • Solid understanding of ETL/ELT design patterns and data integration best practices.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
  • Knowledge of data governance, lineage, and security best practices.
