Data Solutions Architect

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer at our organization, you will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable data architectures to support business growth.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop data solutions that meet the needs of various stakeholders.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Developing data mapping specifications and transformation rules.
- Performing data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation activities.
- Creating and executing data conversion scripts and processes.
- Documenting data models, mappings, and migration procedures.
System Integration
- Configuring integrations between Workday and third-party applications.
- Developing integration specifications and technical designs.
- Troubleshooting integration issues and implementing solutions.
- Monitoring integration performance and implementing optimizations.
Technical Configuration & Development
- Designing and implementing Snowflake data models optimized for HR analytics.
- Creating and maintaining Snowflake objects (tables, views, stored procedures).
- Developing SQL transformations within Snowflake for reporting requirements.
- Configuring Workday modules according to design specifications.
- Building and maintaining business processes, security configurations, and reports.
- Developing custom calculations, rules, and business logic.
- Creating and maintaining configuration workbooks and technical documentation.
- Participating in system testing, including unit, integration, and regression testing.
Reporting & Analytics
- Developing reporting solutions using Snowflake as the data source.
- Creating data visualization dashboards connected to Snowflake.
- Building self-service reporting capabilities for HR and business users.
- Designing and implementing metrics and KPIs for HR analytics.
- Supporting data analysis needs throughout the implementation lifecycle.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3+ years of experience in HRIS implementation, data management, or system integration.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Workday/Greenhouse data conversion, integration, or reporting.
- Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse platforms.
- Experience with architecting or working with ELT technologies (such as DBT) and data architectures.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with data transformation tools.
- Experience with ETL processes and data validation techniques.
- Understanding of HR data structures and relationships.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of programming languages (Python etc.).
- Experience with data visualization tools.
- Understanding of API integration patterns and technologies.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is required.
