Job Role Overview
The full-time Senior Quantity Surveyor role is an on-site position across Tamil Nadu. As a key member of our team, you will oversee client billing, labour bill preparation, sub-contractor billing, cost management for construction projects, including cost estimates, project cost monitoring, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and review of cost estimates for construction projects.
- Monitoring and controlling project costs to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Providing accurate financial reports to stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills Required
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- At least 10 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in the construction industry.
- Excellent knowledge of project billing, cost management, financial analysis, and budget planning.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other project management and cost control software.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and project teams.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
