Quality Assurance Specialist

The role of Quality Assurance Specialist is crucial to ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability in our products.

Main Responsibilities:

  • We seek a diligent professional to perform manual functional testing of web and mobile applications, maintaining rigorous attention to detail throughout the process.
  • Test cases, test plans, and test scenarios are to be developed based on thorough requirements analysis.
  • Bug validation, tracking issues in the bug tracking system, and prompt resolution ensure seamless product delivery.
  • A comprehensive approach is taken to conduct regression testing, verifying that existing functionality remains stable across evolving software landscapes.
  • Collaboration with developers and product owners ensures alignment of testing with delivery timelines through effective communication.
  • Reporting defects clearly, including steps to reproduce and impact analysis, facilitates swift resolution and enhancement.
  • Participation in sprint ceremonies fosters teamwork and strategic planning for successful project outcomes.
  • Support for UAT with clients and stakeholders promotes a customer-centric approach to quality assurance.

Performance Metrics:

  • Defect Detection Rate: ≥ 95% of critical issues identified before release.
  • Defect Leakage: ≤ 5% of high-severity issues reported post-release.
  • Test Coverage: ≥ 90% of functional requirements validated per sprint.
  • Bug Closure Rate: ≥ 90% of reported bugs resolved within committed sprint.

Key Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2–4 years of experience in manual QA testing for SaaS or enterprise platforms.
  • Strong understanding of functional, regression, and exploratory testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools is essential for effective issue management.
  • The ability to craft clear and structured test cases enhances collaboration and minimizes misunderstandings.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills facilitate seamless information exchange among team members.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience testing AMS, LMS, e-commerce, or membership platforms offers valuable insights into diverse industry needs.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools streamlines the testing process and increases efficiency.
  • Exposure to WordPress, React/Next.js-based platforms provides a solid foundation for adapting to emerging technologies.
  • An understanding of accessibility and performance testing basics is highly desirable in today's fast-paced development environment.
