Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Description

A Quality Assurance (QA) specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the excellence of our Google Cloud Platform (GCP)-based solutions.

  • Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and reports to ensure seamless execution.
  • Perform data-level validations, including schema checks, completeness, integrity, and freshness validations, to guarantee high-quality data.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to automate test cases using GCP services like Cloud Composer and BigQuery.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for testing large data sets, ensuring efficient validation processes.
  • Monitor GCP cloud logs and build dashboards to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Identify, log, and track defects, providing regular status updates on execution/validation progress.
  • Manage defect triage with various stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Hands-on experience with data validation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
