Hardware Test Engineer

Job Overview
At TE Connectivity, we're seeking a skilled Hardware Test Engineer to join our R&D/Product Development Engineering Teams. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for conceiving original ideas for new products, introducing them into practice, and ensuring their quality and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Develop bench/test setups to determine and verify device performance.
- Design and develop circuit boards that maintain excellent signal integrity to enable design evaluation and characterization.
- Take engineering test systems to the next level regarding reliability and repeatability.
- Drive improvements in the engineering lab.
- Data analysis and recommendations with respect to new and existing specifications/datasheets.
- Benchmarking of products.
- NPI support by performing characterization and qualification tests.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of testing documentation, including test procedures, work instructions, and technical reports.
Requirements
- EE degree and minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Solid understanding of electronic circuits, mechanical systems, and/or software applications relevant to the testing process.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues efficiently.
- Detail-oriented mindset with excellent record-keeping and documentation skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Adaptable and open to learning new technologies and methodologies as the testing landscape evolves.
