Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Engineer I to join our team. As a key member of our global sourcing technology team, you will play a crucial role in enabling lululemon's supply chain from raw materials to finished good production through innovative technology solutions.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to all areas of development and operations (pre-production to production)
  • Working closely with a Technology Manager to guide a team of Engineers through their day-to-day process
  • Providing a central escalation point for production concerns
  • Participating in Agile production release teams and performing on-call support functions as needed

As a Senior Engineer I, you will be counted on as a leader in your technology space, bringing a high level of technical knowledge as well as strong mentoring abilities. You will be responsible for maintaining a deep understanding of how delivered products are functioning and will contribute to the development and delivery of industry-leading technology solutions that drive lululemon's business goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Software Architecture preferred; candidates with substantial and relevant industry experience are also eligible
  • Overall Experience 10 + Years
  • Exceptional technical skills, a keen eye for design, and excellent communication abilities
  • 6+ years of experience with Angular / AngularJS
  • 6+ years of experience in HTML, CSS, and writing cross-browser compatible code
  • A solid understanding of AJAX, JavaScript, and the Bootstrap framework (2+ years experience in Bootstrap)
  • 6+ years of experience with RESTful services
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks (basic experience, e.g., Cypress)
  • Hands-on experience implementing complex Angular applications, directives, controllers, and services
  • Hands-on experience with Gitlab/Github and working with CI/CD workflows
  • Ability to learn, understand, and work quickly with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Effective time management abilities
  • Capacity to work in a distributed team environment
  • Familiarity with Agile practices is essential
