Job Description:

As a Subject Matter Expert, you will be responsible for developing and managing high-quality question banks for assessments. This role requires strong subject matter expertise, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.

You will work closely with Subject Experts to structure and design question banks, set quality standards, and track inventory levels. Additionally, you will train and develop SME pools in different domains/subjects, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to fulfill requirements for test items and question sets.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from developing new assessment tools to improving existing ones. You will be responsible for ensuring that all materials are accurate, up-to-date, and meet the highest standards of quality.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage high-quality question banks for assessments.
  • Work closely with Subject Experts to structure and design question banks.
  • Set quality standards for question development and review.
  • Track inventory levels and maintain optimum levels of item availability.
  • Train and develop SME pools in different domains/subjects.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to fulfill requirements for test items and question sets.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Subject Competency: You should have a strong subject matter expertise in school subjects till 12th level as per NCERT syllabus.

Education System Understanding: You should have a broader understanding of education system of the country and NCERT/CBSE/Boards.

Experience: You should have experience of working in education sector related to assessment & evaluation - test designs/blueprints, question development.

Language Skills: You should have a good command over English both written and spoken, and a good command over spoken Hindi.

Skills: Proficiency required in at least one of the below mentioned skills: Engineering, Mathematics & Physics, Chemistry & Biology.
