Cloud Security Professional

Job Description:

This role involves overseeing the security operations center (SOC) and driving cloud security initiatives across AWS and Azure environments. The ideal candidate will have experience with SIEM tools, cloud security, vulnerability management, penetration testing, and compliance frameworks.

  • Monitor and manage SOC activities, leveraging SIEM tools to ensure optimal performance.
  • Develop and implement cloud security strategies to protect against cyber threats.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security risks.
  • Ensure adherence to industry best practices, including ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR, and HIPAA.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in SOC operations and SIEM platforms (Splunk and QRadar preferred).
  • Hands-on expertise in cloud security, with certifications in AWS and Azure highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and threat detection techniques.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards: ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
