Oracle HCM Functional Consultant Job Description

As a seasoned professional, we are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Functional Consultant to lead our end-to-end deployment/updating/customization and integration of Oracle HCM modules globally.

This individual will drive digital adoption firm-wide by managing a team of consultants and working closely with business stakeholders, technology support teams, and implementation partners to ensure the successful configuration, customization, testing, and deployment of Oracle HCM modules.

  1. Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end Oracle HCM implementation/updating/modification process for all Oracle HCM modules.
  2. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with SuccessFactors vendors, consultants, and external partners to ensure the success of the implementation and resolve technical or business-related issues.
  3. System Configuration & Customization: Ensure the configuration and customization of Oracle HCM modules where needed, according to business needs and best practices.
  4. Training, testing & Quality assurance of HR tech products: Develop and deliver training materials and user guides, plan pilots, testing, provide end-user training and support.
  5. Change Management and digital adoption: Support organizational change management activities on tech adoption of HR and internal communication products.
  6. Continuous Improvement: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of tech products post-implementation, identify opportunities for process improvements and work with stakeholders to implement enhancements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., PMP, Oracle HCM certifications) are highly valued.
  • 12 to 15+ years of experience with implementing HR Systems / Supporting Oracle HCM or other HRMS platforms.
  • Proven track record of managing end-to-end Oracle HCM implementations (across multiple modules).
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes and best practices, with a deep understanding of HR technology solutions and shared services function.
