Key Garment Quality Position

The Senior Quality Assurance position is a critical role that plays a pivotal part in ensuring garment quality through various stages of production, from material sourcing to final inspection. This senior QA position requires a strong understanding of garment manufacturing quality assurance standards and the ability to identify and address defects and process gaps.
This role involves the overall management of quality systems right from inward materials till dispatch. It ensures that inputs in production are as per buyer standard and keeps the process intact of online inspection as well as audit systems. The key output for this role shall be final product quality, achieve DHU and zero quality complaint, and maintain the quality system of the factory.
The job responsibilities include:
- Responsible for the overall management of quality systems right from inward materials till dispatch.
- Ensures that inputs in production are as per buyer standard and keeps the process intact of online inspection as well as audit systems.
- Provides clear understanding of all style tech files to the production floor team and monitors the product quality throughout the processes.
- Maintains customer requirements regarding product standards throughout the process and has a clear understanding of their requisites.
- Works with the quality team to ensure that rejection and defect rate figures are at a minimum and are well within target levels.
- Continuously monitors and implements controls to achieve the same.
- Handles final internal as well as external quality auditors and audits.
- Maintains the daily quality report and takes appropriate actions to improve on the processes in line with various departments and achieves the targets set for Final Audit first time pass.
- Analyzes all samples coming in to ensure they meet requirements and all samples going out to customers to make sure there are no issues in the final product and works on RCA/CAPA based on customer feedback to improve product quality.
- HIGHLIGHTS ALL FACTORS WHICH ARE NOT IN HIS/HER CONTROL TO HIGHER MANAGEMENT AND SEEKS FINAL SOLUTION TO KEEP PROCESS MOVING JOB DESCRIPTION 11 Work with the department team to identify performance gaps - due to skill availability, training etc. 12 Responsible to give any kind of signed standard to production and finishing to start any new process 13 Responsible for the implementation of Continuous Improvement initiatives on the shop floor and create visual quality systems in production floor 14 Responsible to maintain workplaces safe and clean 15 Responsible to maintain all testing reports related to customer requirement for each style POs in presentable manner so that can discuss with customer as and when required Skills Technical Skills Essential Proficient in use of MS Office Good knowledge of Internet Email esp Knowledge of various quality systems applicable in garment factory Knowledge of fabric behavior and patterns to understand fit and shape of product Behavioral Skills Strong problem identification finding skills Analytical skills Excellent problem-solving skills Meticulous ability to pay attention to detail Strong multi-tasking ability Self-driven proactive energetic and man-management skills
This role requires a candidate who is proficient in using MS Office, has good knowledge of Internet, Email, and various quality systems applicable in garment factories. The ideal candidate should have analytical skills, excellent problem-solving skills, and a meticulous ability to pay attention to detail.
