Job Description

The position of Fraud Data Analyst is a key role in our organization, requiring a strong analytical mindset and expertise in data analytics tools. As a Fraud Data Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and implementing fraud detection systems to prevent financial losses.

The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of experience in fraud analytics, risk management, or data analytics, with a proven track record of developing and implementing successful fraud detection systems.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and deploying predictive analytics models and machine learning algorithms to identify suspicious activities and patterns.
  • Continuously optimizing fraud monitoring systems to improve detection accuracy and reduce false positives.
  • Analyzing internal and external data sources to identify vulnerabilities and recommend proactive measures.
  • Defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of fraud detection strategies.

Additionally, the Fraud Data Analyst will work closely with risk management, compliance, IT, and other departments to ensure alignment and effective communication.

Qualifications

Education: A Master's degree in data science, statistics, economics, business administration, or a related field is required.

Experience: The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of experience in fraud analytics, risk management, or data analytics.

Technical Skills: Expertise in data analytics tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, SAS) is essential.

Key Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent leadership and team-building abilities, strategic thinking, and effective communication are all crucial for success in this role.
