Cloud Data Engineering Leadership Opportunity

Are you a visionary leader with expertise in cloud data engineering? We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our team in designing, developing, and deploying scalable and reliable data processing systems using Java and Apache Spark in a cloud environment.

As the ideal candidate, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing big data processing pipelines using container orchestration tools like Amazon EKS or equivalent. You will also develop and manage serverless applications and integrate them with cloud services to build efficient and maintainable solutions.

In this role, you will design and implement workflow orchestration solutions for managing complex data pipelines. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and ensure smooth integration across services. Additionally, you will mentor and guide development teams on Java best practices, cloud architecture, and data engineering principles.

Our ideal candidate has a strong background in Java development and proficiency in Apache Spark for distributed data processing. They have experience with cloud platforms and services like EMR, Lambda, EKS, Airflow, or their equivalents. A solid understanding of serverless architectures and microservices design is essential.
