Job Purpose:

We are seeking a skilled professional to execute and support the enterprise IT disaster recovery and crisis process. The goal is to ensure that critical I/S services and work processes can be resumed with agreed upon service and resumption levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop business continuity plans, review, revise and expand existing ones to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Maintain and implement disaster recovery strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Analyze potential business disruptions such as natural disasters, security breaches, legal claims and market disruptions for various departments and functions.
  • Align IT priorities with key business objectives to drive strategic outcomes.
  • Implement recovery operations and methods to enable limited or partial capacity operation in case of infrastructure damage or destruction.
  • Design and facilitate practice drills for plan execution.
  • Track program metrics to measure activities and progress towards goals.
  • Configure and maintain business continuity tools and software.
  • Collaborate with health and safety staff and local, state and federal agencies to align emergency management plans with best practices and community standards.
  • Manage response coordination and communications during business disruptions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
