About This Job

We're looking for an experienced Engineer to join our team as a Senior MFT Administrator.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MFT administration and development, with experience working with Axway products. They will be responsible for setting up file transfer configurations, maintaining platform security, and troubleshooting issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up file transfer configurations for customers in the Axway Managed File Transform platform.
  • Maintain platform security by analyzing and reporting issues with vendors.
  • Troubleshoot file transfer and platform issues.
  • Build automations to improve security, reliability, maintainability, availability, and performance for the MFT platform.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Detailed understanding and experience with the Axway Secure Transport product.
  • Good understanding of AWS technologies, including EC2, Lambda, S3, and RDS.
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform for managing AWS resources.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and RunDeck.
  • Strong Shell and/or Python development experience, including expertise in REST/JSON APIs.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning using Git.
  • Good hands-on experience in Linux and database administration.
  • Strong debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a highly collaborative, multi-discipline development team environment.
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies, ideally with a strong background in SAFe.
  • Skill set in monitoring or observability tools is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of batch scheduling tools like autosys.
