Clearing and Settlement Analyst

The role of a Clearing and Settlement Analyst is multifaceted, encompassing several key responsibilities. Key among these are successfully meeting process standards related to productivity, quality, and service level agreements. Furthermore, analysts must get certified on all training levels of the process.

A critical aspect of this position involves ensuring that SLAs requirements are met in accordance with agreed-upon Service Specifications. Additionally, analysts must meet training targets for various processes, including securities transfers, matching, fails handling & confirmation of trades and non-trades, cancellations & corrections of trades, registration & deregistration of shares, cash & stock reconciliation, transaction reporting, and trade investigation.

An essential trait for this role is completing assigned work with 100% quality and required productivity. The ability to contact counterparts through emails/calls as per the process requirement for any clarifications is also vital.

In addition, analysts are responsible for performing quality checks as and when required. They must understand the linkages between various Trades Services Processes and strive for process improvements. A responsive approach to feedback provided by trainers/team leaders is also expected.

Maintaining a professional approach to work at all times, providing prompt and appropriate responses at all levels, is an essential part of this role. Active participation in team meetings and other initiatives taken by the company is also expected.

The analyst must adhere to all Security Policies and Procedures as per business requirements. Maintaining MIS reports, analyzing data using various reporting/presenting tools, and actively demonstrating company values in behavior and attitude are also key responsibilities.

Continually upgrading domain knowledge and exhibiting discipline on both personal and professional levels are fundamental expectations from this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Graduate / Post-Graduate degree is required.
  • Proficiency in German language (Level 3 & above) is necessary for specific processes.
