Key Responsibilities include settlement operations management, client reporting, reconciliation of securities and cash, and resolving issues related to settlements.
Our team seeks a highly skilled Settlement Operations Specialist who will be responsible for overseeing daily deliverables of the process, collaborating with the client services team, and escalating issues in a timely manner.
Requirements include knowledge in Capital Markets, Microsoft Windows, and associated applications, excellent written and verbal communication skills, knowledge of SWIFT, and experience in security settlement work. A graduate from a recognized university is preferred with 1 year of experience in IB/Asset Management/Broking business.
- Manage day-to-day deliverables of the process, including settlements of client instructions, client reporting, reconciliation of securities and cash, and repairing incorrect client instructions.
- Adhere to established Operating Procedures for performing daily functions.
- Collaborate with the client services team to resolve problems related to settlement issues.
- Assist in creating proper backups through adequate cross-training within the department.
- Escalate all issues properly, in a timely manner, to the appropriate level to avoid any adverse impact on the business.
