Financial Reporting Leader

This role plays a pivotal part in leading the statutory reporting function for multiple group entities, ensuring full compliance with IFRS standards.
- The successful candidate will be accountable for accurate and timely financial statements, robust internal controls, and seamless period-end close processes.
- A high-performing team leader, you will create an environment for success by setting direction and coaching your team to excel through inspiring conversations every day.
- Oversight of period-end close, ensuring all financial transactions are accounted for correctly.
- Ensuring all internal financial controls are operated effectively, and taking remedial action as required.
- Completion of balance sheet reconciliations in line with Balance Sheet best practice and utilizing ARCS, ensuring compliance with all relevant KFCs.
Responsibilities include management of team members' performance reviews, succession planning, recruitment, and leadership. You will also be responsible for preparation and presentation of statutory financial statements for Group Companies, working with auditors and external consultants for its seamless delivery.
You will need strong analytical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. A Chartered Accountant qualification is essential, with experience of Financial Control & IFRS being highly desirable.
