Our organization is seeking a seasoned professional to lead the Design and Engineering Support team for Railway Axle Counter solutions. This role demands technical expertise in fail-safe signalling products, embedded systems, and RAMS analysis, combined with the ability to engage with stakeholders across Indian Railways and internal teams.

  • Education/Experience: B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics & Communication (ECE) or related discipline with a minimum of 10 years' experience in Railway Signalling domain.
  • Strong technical knowledge of fail-safe signalling product design (HW/SW) and embedded systems.
  • Hands-on understanding of international standards and railway signalling concepts.
  • Expertise in RAMS methodologies including MTBF, RBD, FTA, and reliability calculations.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across all levels.
  • Proven ability in project management, root cause analysis, and liaisoning.

We are looking for an experienced leader who can provide design and engineering support for Railway Axle Counter solutions, ensuring compliance with safety, signalling standards, and RAMS requirements. The successful candidate will lead V&V activities including First Time Right (FTR) checks to ensure quality and fail-safe product performance.

  • Liaise with stakeholders to address design, compliance, and product approval requirements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of product failures, propose corrective actions, and drive engineering improvements.
  • Manage engineering documentation, design reports, and ensure compliance with international standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for project management, design support, and cross-functional collaboration.
