Mission-Critical Identity Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking an accomplished and seasoned identity engineer to lead mission-critical Active Directory transformations, ensuring seamless integration with related systems.

  • Lead end-to-end Active Directory migrations, consolidations, and restructuring initiatives, focusing on optimizing large-scale AD transformations.
  • Evaluate existing AD environments to identify technical debt, gaps, and opportunities for optimization, leveraging expertise in AD migrations, consolidation, and restructuring.
  • Design secure, scalable, and compliant AD architectures adhering to Microsoft best practices, emphasizing integrity, security, and reliability.
  • Develop and execute migration strategies, encompassing user, group, computer, and policy transfers, domain controller deployment, and trust configuration, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum security.
  • Integrate AD with associated Microsoft technologies, including Azure AD, M365, SCCM, DHCP, File/Print, and others.
  • Implement group policies, OU structures, and delegation models to align with business and security requirements, ensuring effective governance and compliance.
  • Troubleshoot complex AD replication, authentication, and trust issues across multi-site environments, employing advanced diagnostic techniques and problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure adherence to identity governance and regulatory standards, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Document designs, processes, and post-migration configurations for operational handover, providing transparent and actionable knowledge transfer.
