Senior Backend Engineer Cloud Services Position

This is a long-term contract position in one of the largest global technology leaders. We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Development Engineer to join our scrum team and contribute to Fusion Manufacturing Data Model.

MFGDM is the foundation of Manufacturing Cloud and core data framework for Cloud Flagship Product. You will report to manager and work in a hybrid mode.

Responsibilities:

  • You will collaborate with the global MFGDM development group and within a scrum team of 6-7 engineers.
  • You will co-work with other scrum teams located in Shanghai or other sites around the world.
  • You will design, implement, and validate MFGDM modules/components.
  • You will build quality of work delivered and develop tools to improve high-quality services development.
  • You will participate in professional development activities to stay current on industry knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of software development experience in commercialized products or big-scale systems.
  • Experience in Typescript, Nodejs, C++.
  • Experience building apps on AWS using services such as Step functions, DynamoDB, IAM, EC2, CloudWatch, and Lambda.
  • Exposure to cloud projects development experience.
  • Willingness to take challenges and grow.
  • BS or higher in computer science or related technical discipline.
  • Good team player.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Rich hands-on project experience in full-stack cloud services development.
  • Experience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and partners.
  • Solid C++, Typescript skills.
  • Experience working in Agile process.
