About This Role

We are seeking a talented Fashion Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating innovative and stylish clothing designs that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design & Development: Design and develop new fashion collections, including dresses, coord sets, tops, and fusion wear.
  • Create Innovative Silhouettes: Develop seasonal collections aligned with brand aesthetics and fashion trends.
  • Mood Boards & Sketches: Create detailed illustrations, mood boards, and technical sketches using Photoshop & Corel Draw.
  • Fabric Sourcing: Source and experiment with fabrics, trims, and embellishments suitable for both western and fusion styles.
  • Sampling & Production: Translate design concepts into samples with the in-house team, ensure fittings, pattern corrections, and fabric usage align with quality and cost, collaborate with merchandising and production teams for smooth execution.
  • Trend & Market Research: Stay updated with global and Indian trends in western & fusion fashion, analyze competitor collections and contribute ideas for differentiation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Software: Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw (must have strong command).
  • Fabric Knowledge: Cotton, Rayon, Muslin, Chanderi, Silk, Blends & their drapes.
  • Design Expertise: Western silhouettes, dresses, coord sets, fusion wear.
  • Strong Visualization: Strong visualization, sketching & digital illustration skills.
  • Garment Construction: Knowledge of garment construction, patterns, and embroidery placement.
  • Creativity & Precision: Ability to work under deadlines with creativity and precision.
Qualifications
  • Degree: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Fashion Design or related field.
  • Experience: 2–5 years of professional experience in women's western or fusion fashion.
  • Portfolio: Portfolio of previous work (required).
