  • Key responsibilities include monitoring, triaging, and resolving incidents; driving problem management and root-cause analysis.
  • Additionally, the VCF engineer will perform routine health checks and remediation across vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and vROps.

Key Responsibilities

  2. Day 2 Operations & Reliability:">
  • ">
  • Monitor, triage, and resolve incidents;
  • Perform routine health checks and remediation;
">Platform Administration:">
  • ">
  • vSphere: clusters, resource pools, DRS/HA, vMotion/storage vMotion,
  • Templates, VM lifecycle;
">Security & Compliance:">
  • ">
  • Implement and validate basic firewall rules and segmentation policy in NSX per standards;
  • Adhere to customer change control, audit, and security practices;
">Stakeholder Management & Handover:">
  • ">
  • Provide status updates, capacity/performance reports, and KBs;
  • Conduct knowledge transfer to customer operations teams;

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • ">
  • Strong hands-on experience with vSphere administration in production;
  • Practical vSAN operations experience;
  • Working knowledge of NSXT for day 2 ops;
  • Experience with vROps / VMware Aria Operations;
  • Solid understanding of data center networking and storage basics;
  • Comfortable with change/incident processes (ITIL-aligned);
  • Certifications (preferred): VCP-DCV, VCP-NV, VCAP;
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT;
