About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Transformation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our data analytics group, you will design, develop, and optimize data transformation processes using Snowflake.

This role involves working with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions. You will develop, test, and deploy data models and transformations using dbt Cloud, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, and ensure data integrity, quality, and performance across all solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop data transformation processes using Snowflake.
  • Implement complex queries and data transformations using SQL scripting.
  • Collaborate with teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Develop and deploy data models and transformations using dbt Cloud.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate workflows.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processes and workflows.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in data transformation and SQL scripting.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake.
  • Cloud data warehousing and business intelligence experience.
  • Familiarity with data integration tools and platforms.
  • Proficiency in dbt Cloud and data modeling.
  • CI/CD process experience, preferably using GitHub.
  • Jira or similar agile system familiarity.
  • Demonstrated experience in data migration projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
