Financial Services Accountant

Job Summary:

A highly skilled Financial Services Accountant is required to assist in the management of financial transactions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough financial analysis, including reviewing cash and position reconciliations, validating new system portfolio pricing, income, and expense accruals.
  • Implement software solutions to optimize financial workflows and improve data integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and develop technical solutions.
  • Manage projects effectively to meet deadlines and deliver results.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business decisions.
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of financial products and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • Professional accounting certification (CPA) and/or master's degree preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in financial services or accounting-related environments.
  • Candidate with experience in financial modeling and analysis preferred.
