Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Senior Web Developer with expertise in WordPress and PHP development.

The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in developing, customizing, and maintaining high-performance web solutions using WordPress, PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery.

The position requires excellent technical expertise, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a remote team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Build dynamic and responsive websites using PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services.
  • Optimize website performance for speed, SEO, and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure robust, secure, and high-quality applications.
  • Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams ensuring clear and effective communication.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 3-4 years of professional experience in WordPress and PHP development.
  • Expertise in custom theme and plugin development.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP and familiarity with frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter (optional but preferred).
  • Solid understanding of MySQL database design, optimization, and integration.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
  • Experience integrating REST APIs and other third-party services.
  • Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows in distributed teams.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO best practices, security standards, and website performance optimization.
