Role Summary:

A senior assurance professional with 8+ years of experience in controls and testing is required to drive business value through effective control design and operating effectiveness testing.

Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining internal controls to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of financial data. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics techniques and application knowledge, as well as one or more principal risks such as data governance, data lineage, data quality, records management, people risk, supplier risk, premises, and GRS.

Requirements for this role include a graduate degree or equivalent, application of methodologies relating to control design effectiveness assurance and operating effectiveness testing, strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively across a global team, and ability to consolidate and process information from multiple sources to create meaningful insights and reporting for stakeholders.

Additional requirements include relevant professional certifications such as CA, CIA, CS, or MBA, process re-engineering knowledge, financial services industry experience, risk, control, audit, or governance function experience, project management and change management knowledge, and databases and data science/analytics tools experience.
