Key Role: 3D Modeler

The system relies heavily on your expertise in creating detailed, high-quality 3D models of façade systems and elements using SketchUp software.

This position focuses on visualizing aluminium, glass, and cladding systems based on architectural and technical inputs. Your skills will be essential in helping our team bring these complex designs to life.

The designer will work under the guidance of a senior 3D Visualizer and report directly to the Design Engineer, contributing to client presentations, coordination models, and internal technical development.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop accurate and detailed 3D façade models using SketchUp, with a strong emphasis on precision and attention to detail.
  • Interpret architectural and shop drawings to build precise 3D façade components, utilizing your understanding of construction elements like curtain walls, ACP panels, and glass fittings.
  • Assist in preparing exploded views, conceptual façade visuals, and component-level visuals, collaborating closely with the design team to ensure cohesive results.
  • Collaborate with the 3D Visualizer and Design Engineer to incorporate feedback and revisions, maintaining a high level of quality throughout the project.
  • Maintain organized model files and version tracking for each project, ensuring seamless communication between teams.
  • Support client presentations and internal visual communication through updated models, providing a clear and concise visual representation of our work.

Preferred Skills:

  • Basic knowledge or exposure to Unreal Engine for rendering or interactive walkthroughs is preferred, but not required.
  • Willingness to learn and explore visual improvement tools in the future, demonstrating adaptability and a growth mindset.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in SketchUp 3D modelling (preferably in the façade or architectural industry), showcasing a strong portfolio of work.
  • Strong understanding of basic construction elements, including curtain walls, ACP panels, glass fittings, and other relevant materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, with a keen eye for detail and proportion.
  • Good communication and coordination skills to interact effectively with internal teams, ensuring smooth project execution.

Educational Qualification:

  • Diploma / Degree in Architecture, Civil, Mechanical, or Interior Design, with a strong foundation in spatial reasoning and visual communication.
  • Certification in SketchUp is an added advantage, indicating a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Work Environment:

  • Full-time, office-based position, offering a collaborative environment with exposure to high-quality façade projects.
