Senior BIM Modeler Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned expert in Building Information Modeling to join our team. As a Senior BIM Modeler, you will be responsible for creating detailed models of buildings and structures, working on structural designs, and developing construction drawings.

This role requires strong technical skills, including proficiency in REVIT and related software, as well as experience in Structural and Construction Drawings. You will collaborate with Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) specialists to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.

  • BIM and Modeling Skills: Proficiency in REVIT and related software, ability to create detailed building information models
  • Structural Design Experience: Knowledge of structural design principles and practices
  • Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) Systems: Understanding of MEP systems and their integration into building models
  • Construction Drawings: Ability to develop accurate and detailed construction drawings
  • Collaboration and Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills, ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field
Responsibilities:

As a Senior BIM Modeler, your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating detailed building information models using REVIT and related software
  • Developing construction drawings and plans
  • Collaborating with MEP specialists to ensure accurate and efficient project execution
  • Providing input on structural designs and construction methodologies
  • Participating in quality control processes to ensure model accuracy and precision
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in REVIT and related software, knowledge of structural design principles and practices
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in BIM modeling, structural design, and construction drawing
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field
