We are seeking an experienced Network Architect to lead and manage a team of skilled network engineers. This role requires a strategic leader with expertise across networking technologies, excellent customer interaction skills, and the ability to provide innovative network solutions.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of network engineers in a 24x7 operational environment.
  • Serve as the technical lead and escalation point for complex network issues.
  • Architect, design, and implement scalable and secure network solutions.
  • Engage with customers to understand business needs and translate them into network strategies and solution roadmaps.
  • Drive network modernization efforts, including SD-WAN, cloud connectivity, and security enhancements.
  • Oversee major network changes, outages, and scheduled maintenance, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Own and drive end-to-end network deliverables for both customer and internal projects.
  • Contribute to customer RFPs, RFIs, and technical proposals by architecting tailored network solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and service providers to enhance network reliability.
  • Ensure adherence to ITIL processes, best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain and improve network documentation, diagrams, and policies.
  • Provide technical mentorship and training to the team.
  • Ensure proactive network monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Required Skills & Experience:
  • 12+ years (nearing 15 years) of hands-on experience in enterprise networking.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Cisco networking (Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Wireless, SD-WAN, ACI, etc.).
  • Advanced knowledge and troubleshooting experience with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and switching technologies (Nexus, Catalyst, VPC, VLANs, QoS, etc.).
  • Expertise in Network Security technologies (Firewalls, IPS, VPN, NAT, Zscaler, Websense, Umbrella, etc.).
  • Experience with Load Balancers (F5, Citrix Netscaler) and WAN optimization (Riverbed).
  • Hands-on experience in Cloud Networking with AWS, Azure, or OCI, including cloud connectivity, hybrid cloud integration, and security best practices.
  • Hands-on experience in SD-WAN solutions and cloud-based network security architectures.
  • Knowledge of VoIP technologies (Cisco Call Manager) is a plus.
  • Experience with network monitoring tools (Wireshark, SolarWinds, Scrutinizer, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and thrive in a high-pressure, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent Articulator converting complex network areas in simple language
