Software Development Engineer I

Responsibilities:

  • Develop efficient automated test scripts using Python for seamless testing.
  • Collaborate with developers to design comprehensive test strategies.
  • Utilize Selenium or Playwright frameworks for web-based application testing.
  • Perform API testing using REST Assured tools for backend services.
  • Manage test scripts and collaborate with the team using Git and GitHub.
  • Use JIRA for test case management and defect tracking.
  • Work with Docker containers to set up and manage test environments.
  • Conduct cross-platform compatibility testing on Windows and Linux.
  • Apply TDD and BDD principles for robust test scripts.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in software development.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Strong programming skills with hands-on experience in Python.
  • Solid understanding of automation frameworks.
  • Proficiency in REST Assured tools for API testing.
  • Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
  • Experience with JIRA.
  • Knowledge of Docker and containerization.
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Strong understanding of TDD and BDD methodologies.
