We are seeking a highly skilled Data Entry Specialist to join our team at Reinsurance Group of America. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with expertise in data extraction, analysis, and entry to contribute to the development of our claims automation system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality bidder files by extracting relevant data from various documents using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology.
- Perform quality assurance checks on extracted data, ensuring accuracy and consistency, and make necessary corrections.
- Meet productivity goals and deadlines while maintaining high-quality output, adhering to internal audit guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operation of the Case Summary process and provide feedback to vendors to improve performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to comprehend complex medical and financial information quickly and accurately.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to share knowledge effectively.
- Flexibility, creativity, and self-motivation, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 4-5 years of experience in underwriting and claims automation, preferably with FALU/DLDU or other industry certifications.
- Prior experience working with IT-related projects and underwriting/claims automation systems.
- Comfort and familiarity with OCR/Machine Learning/NLP technologies.
Salary:$65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
