Job Title: Advanced Mathematician

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our organization in a challenging and rewarding role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, review, and execute simulation code to analyze mathematical data.
  • Review mathematical formulas and data sheets.
  • Develop, review, and execute test plans and scripts for verifying mathematical data.
  • Follow all work instructions on a daily basis.
  • Submit and track issues found during verification to ensure they are resolved.
  • Utilize required databases for quality assurance and testing.
  • Provide input to the weekly project status report for each assigned project.
  • Provide detailed completion reports at the end of each project.
  • Interface with development team members to communicate and resolve reported issues in a timely manner.
  • Advanced understanding of software test methodologies and product development lifecycle.
  • Reproduce issues when necessary to assist software development in resolving issues.
  • Responsible for project escalations for each assigned project.

Requirements:

  • Mastery of mathematical fundamentals (statistics and probability).
  • Proficiency in analytical and logical skills.
  • Familiarity with C/C++/C# programming languages.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word applications.
  • Familiarity with Python or other shell scripting languages is a plus.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Capable of providing input and potential solutions to identified issues.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Capable of working and completing tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to multi-task.

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics or Applied Mathematics.

Years of Related Experience:

  • 0.6 months to 4 years.
