Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to handle accounting tasks with precision and expertise.

  • Maintain accurate financial records using Excel and QuickBooks Online, ensuring timely submission of reports and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts on a monthly basis, identifying and addressing any discrepancies or errors.
  • Ensure tax compliance (GST/HST/PST, corporate tax, payroll taxes) in collaboration with senior advisors, staying up-to-date with the latest legislative changes and regulations.
  • Assemble comprehensive working paper packages for financial statements, providing transparent and clear information to stakeholders.
  • Onboard Canadian clients, ensuring a smooth transition and integration into our accounting systems and processes, while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Conduct data entry tasks as needed, utilizing efficient and effective methods to minimize errors and maximize productivity.
  • Prepare corporate tax returns and related documentation, adhering to strict deadlines and quality standards.
  • Oversee payroll tasks, including client onboarding, payroll processing, and benefits administration, while maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Communicate effectively with clients via email and phone, gathering necessary information and clarifying details to ensure seamless service delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks Online is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
