Seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at ACME Solar Holdings Limited.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and implementing mechanical systems for solar projects, with a strong focus on execution of approved engineering designs and industry standards.

The role requires close collaboration with the Head Office (HO) Mechanical Design Team and Site Execution Team to ensure seamless design support for site-specific modifications in module mounting structures (MMS), trackers, and mechanical layouts.

The successful candidate will have proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design/drafting tools, as well as a strong understanding of MMS, trackers, and steel structures used in solar projects.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Review and interpret mechanical design drawings issued by HO
  • Prepare/modify site-specific mechanical drawings when required
  • Conduct wind load and structural stability checks for site-specific conditions
  • Verify MMS foundation positions, tilt angles, and row spacing as per design
  • Support fabrication, welding, and erection quality checks against approved standards
  • Provide design clarifications/modifications at site and coordinate with HO for approvals
  • Issue red-marked drawings/as-built drawings after execution
  • Coordinate with civil and electrical teams to resolve interdisciplinary design issues
  • Support site teams in resolving mechanical erection bottlenecks (torque requirements, alignment, module clamping)

Qualification & Experience/Skills Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess a B.E./B.tech in Mechanical Engineering and have 5–8 years of experience in mechanical design and site execution (solar/renewable/industrial projects preferred).

Additionally, the candidate should have effective communication and problem-solving skills for site-level challenges.
