System Reliability Expert

Welcome to the role of System Reliability Expert

A key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our systems. With a strong technical background in automation, cloud infrastructure, and observability solutions, you will drive proactive improvements and resolve complex issues.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement automation scripts using Python to optimize cloud service delivery.
  • Integrate cloud services with monitoring systems to enhance overall system visibility.

Infrastructure Management Expertise:

  • Deploy cross-cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.

Cloud Architecture Knowledge:

  • Design resilient architectures incorporating failover and disaster recovery mechanisms.
  • Work with multi-cloud environments (primarily GCP and Azure).

Monitoring Systems and Logging & Alert Systems:

  • Understand observability frameworks and implement monitoring as code.
  • Integrate Dynatrace, Elastic, Splunk, and PagerDuty to enhance system reliability.
  • Work with Splunk and native cloud logging solutions.

Deployment Pipelines and Problem-Solving & Security:

  • Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Groovy.
  • Remediate security vulnerabilities and troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Maintain networking fundamentals and security compliance knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Senior-level experience (7+ years) in system reliability engineering.
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and automation concepts.
  • Proficiency in Python, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Experience with Dynatrace, Elastic, Splunk, and PagerDuty.
  • Knowledge of integrating observability tools.
