Cloud Automation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, automation, and DevOps.

  • This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automation tools and processes for cloud infrastructure, including provisioning, deployment, and management of applications and services.
  • Developing and implementing efficient automation workflows using Go, empowering developers to provision infrastructure, deploy applications, and manage secrets without needing to become Kubernetes or cloud experts.
  • Driving platform standardization and codification of best practices across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify high-leverage platform improvements and enable adoption across brands.
Requirements:
  • 5-7+ years of experience in a professional cloud computing role with Kubernetes, Docker, and Infra-as-Code experience.
  • A BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong understanding of containers, microservice architectures, and modern DevOps practices.
  • Proficient in Golang for backend automation and system tooling.
  • Experience operating in Kubernetes environments and building automation for multi-tenant workloads.
  • Deep experience with AWS (or equivalent cloud provider), infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform), and CI/CD systems like GitLab CI.
