Job Description

The Sourcing and Supplier Development Manager is responsible for leading the Sourcing and Supplier Development team in achieving departmental and organizational objectives.

  • Develop and implement cost-effective sourcing and supply chain strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Identify and develop new suppliers for precision-machined components; evaluate supplier capabilities, quality systems, and production capacity.
  • Conduct cost analysis, benchmarking, and identify cost-saving opportunities through alternate sourcing, process improvements, and vendor consolidation.
  • Manage procurement of imported and locally bought-out parts such as hydraulics, mechanical, electronics, and electrical.
  • Oversee supplier development, vendor negotiations, and warranty claims management with back-to-back warranty arrangements.
  • Ensure uninterrupted supply of materials and services at optimum cost, quality, and timelines for machine and mold production.
Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  • Diaploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
  • 18-25 years of core supply chain management experience.
  • Minimum 10+ years heading complete Sourcing & Supplier Development function.
  • Strong background in tool room or machine-building industry.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in capital equipment or project-based procurement, including Mother Machines selection, negotiation, and purchase.
