**Job Description:**

We are seeking a skilled Financial Modelling Expert to join our team in the area of credit risk management. The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced professionals to develop, validate and enhance financial models for assessing credit risk in banking and financial services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial modelling techniques and statistical methods, as well as expertise in programming languages such as Python, R or SAS. They will also have knowledge of regulatory standards such as IFRS 9 and Basel III/IV IRB approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement advanced financial models for credit risk assessment using statistical techniques.
  • Validate existing credit risk models and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Analyse loan portfolio performance and provide insights for risk mitigation.
  • Conduct benchmarking, back testing and stress testing of credit risk models.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in financial modelling techniques and statistical methods.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R or SAS.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards such as IFRS 9 and Basel III/IV IRB approaches.
  • Advanced degree in Quantitative Finance, Statistics or Economics.
