About the Job

The Security and Loss Prevention Specialist plays a critical role in safeguarding people and assets of Amazon's operations, adhering to global security guidelines and policies.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement effective security plans to prevent loss and ensure asset protection.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders across business and corporate functions to drive process improvements and optimize security measures.
  3. Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement, informing strategic decisions to mitigate risk and enhance operational efficiency.
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging threats, applying knowledge to maintain a proactive approach to security.
  5. Liaise with external vendors and partners to ensure seamless delivery of services and support.

Requirements:

  • Graduation with a minimum 4-year degree or equivalent experience in security, loss prevention, shrinkage, asset protection, investigations, or inventory management.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in law enforcement or security-related professions, with a proven track record of managing complex security investigations.
  • Extensive knowledge of security equipment and technology, with expertise in information security processes and systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
