About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning Manager to join our team at Thomson Reuters. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining financial models, driving forecasting and planning processes, and providing strategic financial guidance to the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business decisions and strategic initiatives
  • Drive forecasting, annual planning, business analysis, and business performance reporting processes
  • Review operations, revenue, and expenses to inform business decisions and optimize margins
  • Guide and develop the skills of team members, ensuring they meet high standards and deliver results
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide reporting and compliance support, and contribute to ad-hoc projects within Finance and the business
  • Prepare business presentations and briefing papers for local, regional, and global management
  • Own and drive process improvement, simplification, and automation initiatives in Finance
  • Build strong relationships with business management and contribute to the decision-making process
  • Partner with stakeholders to create high-level integrative plans and identify requirements for cross-departmental initiatives
  • Resolve escalations and conflicts
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in finance and analytics, preferably with a CA or MBA Finance qualification. You should have 10-15 years of corporate experience in finance and analytics, with a proven track record of business partnering with senior leadership. You should also have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with global teams and manage multiple stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and result-oriented, with a willingness to learn new technologies
  • Interpersonal skills to guide and motivate team members
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of SAP, Financial Planning Tools, and automation and visualization tools (desirable)
