Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineering Lead to oversee the design and implementation of Microsoft Fabric solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, cloud computing, and data governance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable and secure data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric.
  • Lead a team of data engineers to deliver high-quality data solutions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and recommend improvements to our data strategy.
  • Establish data governance, security, and compliance frameworks within Microsoft Fabric.
  • Monitor and optimize data pipelines and queries for performance and cost efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 9-12 years of experience in data engineering, with 5+ years' experience in Azure Data Platform (ADF, Databricks, Synapse) and at least 1 year in MS Fabric projects.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data governance.
  • Proven experience in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Azure Data Services (Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake).

About the Role:

This is a contract position with the option to extend. We offer a competitive rate of $18-20 per hour and flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs.
