Enterprise Integration Specialist

As a senior integration specialist, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise integration solutions for insurance platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions using Azure API Management, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, and Event Grid to enhance system interoperability.
  • Create and manage RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven integrations for insurance applications (Policy Admin, Claims, Billing, CRM, Reinsurance, etc.).
  • Collaborate with business and technology teams to analyze insurance system workflows and identify integration opportunities that drive growth.
  • Ensure API security, governance, scalability, and monitoring using Azure API Management best practices to safeguard data and ensure compliance.
  • Develop and optimize .NET-based services and middleware for system interoperability, ensuring seamless communication between disparate systems.
  • Work closely with architects to establish integration standards, design patterns, and reusable frameworks that promote efficiency and consistency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues with a focus on reliability, performance, and compliance, providing expert-level support to ensure business continuity.
RequirementsRequired Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on system integration and APIs, including expertise in Azure API Management (APIM).
  • Strong hands-on expertise in:
    • Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid, Service Bus
    • .NET Core / .NET 6+ (C#)
    • REST, SOAP, JSON, XML standards
  • Proven track record in integrating with insurance platforms (policy admin, claims, billing, CRM, third-party data providers), with a strong understanding of insurance data security and compliance.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Azure DevOps for integration delivery, ensuring efficient and reliable deployment of integration solutions.
  • Strong understanding of IAM frameworks (OAuth, OpenID Connect, JWT, SAML) and insurance industry standards (ACORD, ISO, HL7 where relevant).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with API monetization models for insurance distribution ecosystems, driving revenue growth through innovative integration solutions.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native, microservices, and event-driven architecture, enabling scalable and agile integration solutions.
  • Prior work in insurance digital transformation, InsurTech integration, or partner ecosystems, demonstrating expertise in transforming businesses through integration.
