About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver projects in data engineering and analytics.

The successful candidate will manage cross-functional teams to execute data platform, pipeline, and analytics initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Execution: Plan, execute, and deliver technical projects on time, within scope, and efficiently.
  • Data Pipelines: Strong understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT, and analytics workflows.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, product, QA, and operations teams to define project requirements and success metrics.
  • Cloud Data Platforms: Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks).
  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Azure Methodologies: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Progress Tracking: Track project progress using tools like Jira, Confluence, and report status to stakeholders.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve project blockers and dependencies.
  • Documentation: Ensure all technical documentation is current and aligned with project goals.
  • Communication: Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in project management within a technical environment.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall).
  • Proficient with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
