Job Overview:
This role requires an expert in data science with a strong background in Biotech, Pharmaceuticals & Life Sciences. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI techniques to transform diverse pharmaceutical datasets into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and implement machine learning models and algorithms to analyze pharmaceutical datasets and generate insights.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and scalable ML models on a Data Lake architecture using cloud-based platforms such as AWS Redshift, S3, SageMaker.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis, data profiling, and feature engineering to prepare datasets for predictive modeling.
• Work with cross-functional teams to translate business challenges into data science solutions and create compelling data visualizations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• 4-7 years of experience in data science within the Biotech, Pharmaceutical & Life Sciences industries.
• Expert knowledge of datasets such as Xponent, DDD, Claims Analysis, and Payer data specifically for USA and European markets.
• Verifiable experience in both supervised and unsupervised Machine Learning techniques.
